Just hanging out

As Mylie and Watson get older, they really are becoming best friends. When you find one, the other is usually only a few feet away.

The other day, I was curling my hair and I heard some rustling behind the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom. I pulled it back and found this.

On Fridays, I work from home. Sometimes I take my laptop out in the living room for a change of scenery from the office, and last Friday both dogs joined me on the sofa the entire time I was working. I had to go back in the office after a short time though, because Mylie kept nudging my hand with her head to get me to pet her. It was getting so excessive she was making it tough to work!

When Mylie and Watson are not relaxing, they are wrestling. Lately, they have been doing this thing where the both flip on their backs and they wiggle around next to each other. It's so strange and very funny. I tried to get a picture and this was the best I could do. I'll try again because they do it all the time!

Now the dogs are sitting on the floor in the living room next to me sharing a toy. Watson is chewing on the toy, and Mylie is crying because she wants it. Every now and then she comes over to me to pout and cry. Every time Watson is chewing on something, we have to go over and check to make sure it is a toy. We don't need any more electronics eaten or socks swallowed.

Tonight Michael finally bought an ipad. He's wanted one for months, but has been waiting for the ipad2 to come out. He has saved gift cards and been extremely patient. When we were checking out at Best Buy, they asked if we wanted the optional protection plan. At first we asked if it covered dogs chewing it up and they assured us that it did. After thinking seriously about it for a short time given our track record with these dogs, we decided to live life on the edge (again) and not buy it. I am hoping that wasn't a mistake!
